Behind The Scenes

The cameras, the lights, the sounds, the costumes, the special effects, the visual effects, the stunts, the make over, make ups, etc are at all times as vital as the faces we see on screen. 

Sometimes we fail to recognize certain names which might not be as popular as the super stars we see in movies but are a major factor to the satisfaction we derive from our Nollywood Movies. 

We have certainly seen some movies with very good visual effects. Do we seek to know who is responsible for such excellenve or still focus on the main characters acting on our screens? Do we seek to appraise and praise whoever costumed or applied makeup on the characters for our favorite movies?  Oh No, most times i am sure we don't.. 

How do we balance this equation? We got to develop a culture for identifying and appreciating these Behind The Scene giants. 

We got to create more categories of awards to accommodate every crew and cast. We have to make them feel like celebrities do. 

This series will look into celebrating those who put in their best off the camera to make the movies that entertain and educate us worthwhile. 

Every week we would dedicate a day to recognize and celebrate at least two behind the scene super stars who have carved a niche for themselves...
