Like so many Nigerians, I was laid off from my job due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Things were pretty bad, and it was a struggle for the basic necessities of life. I was very down in my spirit and was feeling hopelessness taking its toll on me. After the lockdown was lifted, I was privileged to meet my mentor and sponsor Ms. Brandi Callum. I reached out to her for a job and she hired me, (Although she wasn’t hiring). She began to teach me things, new things, new ways, and gave me hope. It seemed surreal and I had doubts, but she reassured me and made me believe that all things are possible with faith. Ms. Callum introduced me to the Oil of Life Foundation (OILF). They partner with crowd Fund Raising teams to support NGOs, charitable projects, and enterprising youth.
